The GW-NSW Executives and Scholarships Convenor made the decision to postpone the application based scholarships and awards program in 2020. Given the pandemic and significant impact on the education sector, it was not be possible to effectively carry out the application processes.

The funding program will soon resume and individual scholarships and awards have been updated on the scholarships summary page.

• Jamieson Award for students completing their first degree in 2019 or 2020
• Joan Ritchie Award for mature age students in their 2nd year
• Education Trust Award/s for students in their 3rd year
• Joan Bielski Scholarship for mature age women commencing their first undergraduate degree in 2021
• Tempe Mann Travelling Scholarship for Doctoral students to complete a short period of advanced research or coursework
• Centenary Award Post-graduate Masters and Doctoral students who’s study aligns with the aims of GW-NSW.

In most cases, the criteria for applicants has been adjusted ensuring students in the 2020 and 2021 cohort are eligible for the awards.
